HEalthy Carpets

There are two types of people in the world, those that take their shoes off at home and those that don't.  Regardless of which one you are there are plenty of reasons to have your carpets and tile cleaned.

Did you know....

  • Children, younger than 2,  bring hands, toys or something else to their mouths 80 times an hour as they play. Kids ages 2 to 5 do it 50 times an hour.

  • 90% of what is on the bottom of our shoes transfers to tile floors and carpets.

  • On the bottom of your shoes you will find E. coli along with seven other kinds of bacteria, including ones that cause intestinal, urinary, eye, lung, blood and wound infections.

  • Coliform bacteria - originating in fecal matter are found on nearly every shoe, usually originating from pubic restrooms.

  • Pets accumulate the same bacteria, germs and fecal matter on their paws as we accumulate on our shoes.

HEALTHY FAMILY

  • 90% of households that take off their shoes do not require guests to do the same.

  • Carpets attract and hold allergens and pollens that keep allergy season going year around.

  • Dust mites may be the most common trigger of year-round allergies and asthma.

  • The average human sheds 1.6 pounds of dead skin per year.

  • Skin produces oils that stick to carpet fibers and attract dirt.

  • Lotions that you apply contain oils that degrade carpets and attract even more dirt.

  • Sweat from your feet and body grow bacteria which cause odors, eat away at your carpet fibers and causes spots.

  • A clean home and office have been scientifically proven to have a positive impact on mental health.
